A year ago, I found this cute house in the Target Dollar Spot, and created a free printable to customize the rooms. By printing them out and adding them, it turned the simple “wall decoration” into a cute little home with six distinct rooms. The printable also came with some cards that you can use to sort by room, or to talk about where each item could be used in a house.
A few weeks ago, I was surprised and delighted to hear from several people that the Dollar Spot house was back at Target! However, people quickly noticed that the printable wasn’t fitting in the new house. I decided to go and find one of these new houses for myself, to see if I could check it out. I actually “had” to visit two or three Targets to find them, but I bravely accepted the challenge. Finally I found one – and as suspected, for some reason the measurements were slightly different.
Yesterday, I got the opportunity to sit down and adjust the printable to fit the new 2018 house:
